How do you create a logo?

Unfortunately I’m not sure what the answer to that is. But I needed to create one for this podcast, so it was thinking caps at dawn to come up with a workable idea. A quick look at the well-crafted and rendered graphics used by other podcasters on Podbean underlined the lack of expertise I have in image manipulation. Clearly I needed help.

Sometimes you can overthink things so in the end I went for a literal interpretation. I needed a roadsign for Albuquerque. After some hunting around I searched for sites that allowed you to create your own roadsigns, and found this site.  From there it was a relatively simple exercise to create the masterpiece I now present:

And, of course, if you wanted to create your own graphics, maybe warning of impending LOLCats or the Zombie Apocalypse - knock yourself out!
